Medieval 2 Total War Kingdoms --help

Post by hkital »

I'm trying to run the Kindoms expansion for Medeival 2 Total War. The base game runs perfectly, however the expansion won't run. It gets to the loading screen for the main menu, then a window with an explamation point pops up and the game closes. I've tried reinstalling but no luck. The expansion got silver rating in the AppDB.

I'm using Wine 1.6.2, my NVIDIA driver version is 331.38

Hi,
as I recall the Kingdom Version has SecuRom or something similar.
On my Windows Machine it always took forever to start up because of this.
Maybe this is what it says in the popup that it does not recognize the disk because (I guessing) securom is missing from the Wine installation.
