Bad Exe problem when openning an app

Post by babaris »

Hello,
I've recently changed my computer and wineskin used to work fine in my older computer but now everytime I try to run an app it quits after a few seconds. I did a test run in one of the apps that didn't work and got this message :
err:process:create_process L"C:\\Program Files\\Factorio_x64_0.10.0\\bin\\x64\\Factorio.exe" not supported on this installation (x86_64 binary)
wine: Bad EXE format for C:\Program Files\Factorio_x64_0.10.0\bin\x64\Factorio.exe.
This problem might be about x64 setting but I have no idea how to fix it.
I would really appreciate some clarification.

Wine (and Wineskin) on OS X cannot run 64 bit Windows apps at all... so that shouldn't have ever worked.
