FFXI with wine

hello all!

so i have been able to play the game on two PCs but when it comes to my mac and wine i cannot seem to get this working!

using the ffxi-boot.exe i can get as far as character selection. after that all i get is a black screen and nothing else. the ashita.exe wont even load.

does anyone have any tips or tricks for this issue?

the error i get is: fixme:d3d:resource_check_usage Unhandled usage flags 0x8.

another error i get is: the entry point method could not be loaded.

(please let me know what information i need to provide)

Real version number of Wine(command "wine --version" ).

To use a "PolSystemInfo.zip"? (please sha1sum and Version of this)
If ffxi in itself has a version, you should write in it.
