So I am having a problem connecting and playing LAN games with Battle for Middle Earth 2. WHen I open up multi player, I can see other players (on PCs) and I can see games that they have created but I cannot join their games and they can not join mine. When I try to join their games, It gives me one of two error messages. The first tells me that the connection has timed out. The second says that I can not join the game because I have a different version of the game than the others. Now I know for sure I am running the same game that my friends are. Also of relevance. When I go into options, it tells me that the online IP address is 127.12.34.56. Now I googled this have figured out that this is a bogus IP address. So I believe this might relate to the issue.
Anyone have any advice on how to fix this.
