firefox crashes

firefox crashes
Firefox has started crashing on me. I'm not sure when it started. I uninstalled it, and reinstalled (26.0) but it still crashes. I also uninstalled Wine and reinstalled. I"m running LInux Mint 14, with all current updates, wine version 1.4.1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I assume you run Windows version of Firefox with Wine? Otherwise your problem is not with Wine. And if it is, first thing to do is to upgrade Wine. Current version is 1.7.9 but 1.7.8 is good too. If upgrade does not help, you may want to try to install Firefox in clean Wine prefix (run "mv ~/.wine ~/.wine.old" so Wine recreates it). If after this problem is not solved, post terminal output.

The WINEHQ homepage said that 1.6.1 was the stable version, so I upgraded to that and that fixed the problem. Thank you.
