Morrowind Controls fix?

I recently got The Elder Scrolls III - Morrowind and ran it through Wine. Little problem, whenever I try to change the controls to my preferences it freezes and I have to exit the game.

I have been scourging through the internet looking for a fix, but have not found one. so I decided to just ask it here. Is there a way to manually change the controls? I'm on a mac, by the way.

Sorry if this is like the 10 billionth topic about this, please direct me to the topic on which this has been solved (if it has, that is).
