So I had Diablo 3 running fine, even with the new Battlenet launcher, but then I decided to upgrade my memory...
Apparently Diablo 3 doesn't like more than 4GB of memory (I now have 8GB) on 64-bit systems. Now, I know the posted fix for this is to run 'setarch i386 -3 wine ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Diablo\ III/Diablo\ III.exe', but now there is a catch. In order to run the Battlenet launcher, you need to configure wine to disable the dbghelp file. However, running that script above requires that file in order to launch Diablo successfully. So now I'm in an endless loop of fixing one thing breaking another, so there is no way to get this thing running.
Any suggestions? Despite my best attempts, I can't 'untangle' the Bnet launcher and D3 now that is has been installed. I could uninstall the launcher but then I wouldn't be able to play Hearthstone. Please help!
