Hello!
I just installed Wine 1.6rc4 and the good news is: the game "Jack Keane 2" starts and can be played. Bad news: you have to play it blindfolded, because the screen stays black.
Sounds funny, but it's true: the game runs, and you can move around the cursor on a black screen. When you accidentally hit an object that you can interact with, the object's name is displayed. You can then take the object and do whatever you want to do with that, as long as you can do it without seeing the object.
What can I do to make the display work, what options can I try to make me see the game as well? I'm sure it's just a minor option somewhere that I did not find yet.
So far I tried:
- emulating XP and Windows 7
- emulating a virtual desktop
- not emulating a virtual desktop
- installing DirectX10 inside the Wine-drive
- switching graphics memory
Any help will be appreciated very much! Thanks in advance!
