SR2 has always worked really well on wine for me. Recently though, I upgraded to 1.6-rc1 and the game now doesn't start properly. I get a white window only showing, while the video sounds play without showing anything. Finally, I get to the main menu and see only the game cursor rotating on top of a white screen.
I don't know if this is an OSX thing (having to do with the switch to native rendering) or a wine thing.
