Innoveda Pads PowerPCB Cad Program - 1 Major issue.... HELP.

I have successfully installed Pads PowerPCB 4.01 but have trouble with using the preferences portion of the program. Any attempt at all to use the preferences function causes the program to crash with a segmentation fault / Fatal Database error 2018. There is not any PCB file loaded with any extra database info into the software loaded and I am just trying to configure the program but no matter what I try this error occurs. Is there anything I can try to try to resolve this issue. Has anyone successfully gotten pads powerpcb to run properly in wine? Is there some kind of debug I can run in the background of wine to see perhaps what is is not liking to cause the error?? Any help is appreciated.

You didn't mention what Wine version you're using; if it's not the latest development release, upgrade. If it still doesn't work, post terminal output. http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log
