Hi,
I'm running Wine 1.5.30 on Linux Mint 14 with Cinnamon. I've used System Systems > Keyboard to setup custom shortcuts. For example, F1 opens terminal. I really like this luxury but unfortunately it gets in the way of playing WoW. Is there anyway to disable desktop shortcuts while playing a game?
I have wow.exe added to applications and set to Windows Xp. The settings I've found that work in general are using 'Emulate a virtual desktop' (helps with fullscreen and alt-tab) and setting audio ouput device to Pulseaudio.
Disable desktop shortcuts while playing games?
Re: Disable desktop shortcuts while playing games?
Any help greatly appreciated

Re: Disable desktop shortcuts while playing games?
If you disable global shortcuts, Alt-Tab will not work in game window. I do not know if this is possible in Cinnamon, but, for example, in KDE, it is possible to disable global shortcuts for specific window (Window Menu -> More Actions -> Special Window Settings... -> Appearence & Fixes -> Ignore global shortcuts). Perhaps you can find similar setting in your DE. If not, you probably should ask on another forum, because your question is about a problem with your desktop environment and not with Wine.
