Playing Diablo 2, no sound

Hi everybody. Relative newcomer to Wine here (I have a little experience, the last game I played was Rollercoaster Tycoon). Now I'm trying Diablo 2. Installed the game. Works perfectly, except there's no sound! I can't even choose it in the options menu, it's faded out. I'm sorry I don't have much more information than that, I'm just really not sure where to begin. Any help would be greatly appreciated - I'd love to enjoy this classic game once again. Thank You!
