Using a webcam through wine (in Unity3D)

Hello everybody,

I have a really ambitious wish : I want to use a face detector inside Unity3D. I have a linux-only machine, so I had to install Unity through wine, and now I have a script that should use the webcam that is integrated inside my computer... Except that the webcam doesn't light up when I run the script.
Any idea if there is a solution to this? Can we use webcam through wine?
