Invalid Parameters While playing Fallout 3

I know this has already been disscussed but the pages i come accross just look like greek to me. Thats why I decided to open a new topic of an old one and I would like to be walked through this step by step and explained why im getting this error I would like to learn how to use wine and linux os instead of just told how to fix the problem. Well heres what happens I go to player fallout 3 which I have installed through Playonlinux and everynow and then i get the Internal Error: Invalid Parameters pop up from wine and about the only thing that seems to fix it is either time and messing with the libraries. I have the xlive work around in there as well as the d3d8 work around ive tried them on all the settings (builtin native ect.) but the one that seems to work the most is builtin then native. POL is using the 1.3.26-xliveless2 version of wine. Can anyone help me with this please?
