Will I be able to install Battlefield 1942 demo from Origin software? Like will it work fine using it like how I would on Windows? I have the latest version of Wine but I don't know if Battlefield 1942 will work. Also since it uses EA Origin and it tries to install DirectX I don't know if it will work fine.
Also for games like The Sims 2 will it work fine using EA Origin program to install it? I have the full game for The Sims 2 Double Deluxe.
Origin software works fine and has no problem when using Wine but just didn't know if the games on my list will work fine.
My OS is Ubuntu the stable version btw.

When people were saying that they can't download do they mean about the game downloading very very slow doesn't continue? Since that's the problem I found out that I have but I don't have any error messages or so it's just super slow and at times it stops. I don't know if that's the problem everyone is having though.
