err:process:__wine_kernel_init boot event wait timed out

I know a lot of people have have posted this error, and i tried their solutions but it didnt work. i'm on wine 1.4.1 and it was installed via macports.I also compiled it using gcc47 because of this and other errors. I am trying to install nba2k13, when i get this error. I am using 10.7.5

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do?

if you used macports gcc 4.7 ... I'd expect issues with Wine. Any weird configure or other issues show up?

You are probably best off right now building Wine on OSX using Apple's clang that comes with Xcode.
