Anyone know a beginners guide / tutorial for wine?

I find wine to be the most frustrating thing I've ever used on any computer ever. Following guides on WineHQ rarely work and most assume basic knowledge or using wine like "Ensure all requirements are met to run 3D games" Which is less than helpful.

I'm just trying to get Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 installed but the installer is crashing when following the guide.

Does anyone know any good tutorials / guide for using wine?

What "guide"? The AppDB entry for Dreamweaver CS5 does not have a howto, and the installer is known not to work. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=25955

I would recommend starting with apps that are known to install and work without problems before attempting something that requires a lot of tweaking.
