I'm going to switch to the development version of Wine because UTAU can run on it like as in Windows, that means no DLL, no EXE without CMD batch, thus running Win!Blender is possible. But I have two questions:
- is xlib6g-dev available on Debian squeeze, or it was replaced?
- the installer asks me to remove the previous Wine. Since I've installed it from packages, what packages should I remove (NOTE: I used Debian and Mepis packages)?
Switching to development version, need help
Re: Switching to development version, need help
Those are questions to ask your distro.
Re: Switching to development version, need help
I'm using Debian squeeze, and I've got my Wine from the depositories of Debian and Mepis.
Re: Switching to development version, need help
Then ask on the Debian and/or Mepis forum. How to use your package manager is not a Wine issue.
