Nvidia-Settings and Wine

Post by Berillions »

Hi,

If i modify graphic options in "Nvidia-Settings" like "AntiAliasing settings" or "Anisotropic Filtering", these modifications will be used by Wine or it's only for native Linux games ?

Because there is a problem in FarCry 3. On Windows, there is a bug because the crosshair disappear if we don't use "application settings" about AntiAliasing. When i try to put the same option in my Nvidia-Settings, the bug still exist so :

1- I don't if it's still a game bug so to wait another patch from Ubi
2- It's a bug Wine because i have two fixme about d3d :
fixme:d3d:state_zfunc D3DCMP_NOTEQUAL and D3DCMP_EQUAL do not work correctly yet.
fixme:d3d:debug_d3dformat Unrecognized 0x434f5441 (as fourcc: ATOC) WINED3DFORMAT!
fixme:d3d:wined3d_get_format Can't find format unrecognized (0x434f5441) in the format lookup table
Thanks,
Max

First of all it's X-mas, so people might be busy with other things. The professional devs aren't closely following this forum, probably because it might keep them off their work ;-)

Either send a very polite email to the wine-devel mailing list or file a bug and hope to gain the attention of one of the d3d devs, e.g. Henri Verbeet.
