WOW 5.0.5 Can't restore wine after minimizing

Hi im running ubuntu 12.10(I had 12.04 before and had same problem) and i have wow 5.0.5 copied over. I saved the file in the wine c drive and set opengl in the WTF file.

The game is able to load and i can play the game pretty fine (with the exception of not having a minimap cursor).

The only problem i am having is whenever i minimize wow (with alt-tab or super key) and then try to restore it, the game doesn't come up again.
the cursor becomes the wow cursor, but nothing else happens. I have to close wow and relaunch it in order to play again.

Im running a 4.0 6 core processor and an amd radeon hd 7750


can some one please help me?
