I understand that Office 2007/Outlook is only rated 'Bronze,' not 'Gold' on Wine, however:
Running Linux Mint Maya, have installed Office 2007; when starting programs, get the error message:
This file could not be found. (Z:\home\jfriedson\%f)
All programs will start, at least, however, except Outlook which just closes down after the error message.
Examples of menu properties are:
env WINEPREFIX="/home/jfriedson/win32" wine start /ProgIDOpen Word.Document.12 %f
env WINEPREFIX="/home/jfriedson/win32" wine start /ProgIDOpen Outlook.File.vcf %f
drives include z: /home/jfriedson
thoughts?
thanks, jf

The most recent test report is actually garbage; that bronze rating is an average of the last two test reports (garbage and silver).
You didn't say what Wine version you're using. If it's not the latest development release, upgrade and reinstall to a clean wineprefix using plain Wine and following the instructions in the AppDB for the Microsoft Office installer.

Re: MS Office 2007 Program Startup Error - Outlook will not
I'm running 1.5.14-0ubuntu1 which was the latest under Syanptics using the latest, updated Linus Mint Maya. Do you think another version would be better? I think I have a stand-alone Outlook 2010 I could install, does that make more sense? thanks, jf
