mac computer doesn't recognize the disk image PLEASE HELP!!!

i downloaded wine bottler and it was going good until after the download, nothing poped up like it was supposed to so i draged the download into the applications folder and now whenever i try to open winebottler it just says that the disk image could not be recognized, any help would be awesome

Do not use WineBottler or any other third-party wrapper, they are not supported here. Try plain Wine 1.5.11 or 1.5.10 and if you still have the problem, describe exactly what it is and how to reproduce it.
