mdac IE6 + internet access

mdac IE6 + internet access

just trying to install mdac with winetricks but i need internet explorer. so i download internet explorer and install but it tells me i need access to the internet. how do i enable internet access for wine apps.

i'm on fedora 9 i386 wine version 1.0

You can't install IE on Wine as-is. This is not supported. Wine has a replacement for it and that's what you should be using. If you really need ie - look at ies4linux. But don't bother asking any questions related to that stuff here. It's not supported as well (read breaks Wine).
