I run Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 with Wine 1.5.8 on Fedora 17, and have a small, but annoying, problem. When I want to use “ in my HTML document it enters a ¨ which is not recognized as valid HTML.
It's not only in Adobe Dreamweaver, I just tried it with notepad.exe and I also get the wrong character there...
Any help is very very much appreciated...
Fedora 17 and Wine generate the wrong character
Re: Fedora 17 and Wine generate the wrong character
The problem is fix, Mr. Gareth from Gnome suggested that the problem could be related to a bug with Wine reading the keyboard layout, so I switched from English, (US, International with dead keys) to the plain English (US) layout, which fixed the problem.
The only thing I now need to do is now-and-than switch the keyboard layout, but that's not that big of a problem.....
