Wine version 1.2

Hi

I am wondering if there is a possibility to get the "old" wine 1.2 version from somewhere.
The link in http://www.winehq.org/download/ubuntu (where it says I can get the older wine 1.2 version) is also directing to wine 1.4.

Since wine 1.2 was the last version where sound was working, I would like to use it again. All newer wine versions seem to not support any sound on my computer at all even though I already tried a lot..

So could someone please tell me where to get the older wine versions?

1.2 was obsolete by the time 12.04 came out, so I doubt any 1.2 packages were every built for it. You can try building it yourself, though if you're on 64 bit, building Wine in 12.04 is apparently quite difficult due to their poor implementation of multiarch.

You could try http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/archive/

Note that 1.2 isn't supported anymore, so you still might want to test
with 1.4 or 1.5 versions (with or without the unofficial winepulse
driver)
