I run mastercam X2 MR2 at work and I would like to be able to switch our boxes over to Linux. The biggest problem I have is not being able to use our programming software. Has anyone done Mastercam X2 Mr2 for Wine? I'm new at using Wine and Linux ( I installed Ubuntu), if it hasn't been done, where or who could I ask for help if at all possible? I would really appreciate any input on this. Thanks for your time and help!

Most likely no one tried because this is specialized software. Try it and let us know how it goes. The AppDB doesn't seem to have any entries for that version, though there are entries for older versions ( http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... n&iId=6947 ). Your best bet is to try and install it and see what happens. If you run into problems, describe exactly what happened and post console output.
