Help with Utorrent

utorrent always have a black background when on the downloads section. Is this a bug, or am I missing something? This happens on both a Intel Mobile 4 series chipset, and a Nvidia Geforce 8400GS (With proprietary drivers)

This is a know issue. A workaround is to stick to utorrent 2.2.1.

Why not to use "KTorrent" or "Transmission" instead? Or you want to seed previously downloaded torrents saved in uTorrent?

I haven't tried ktorrent, but with transmission I can't browse the web at all while it's running. Even when the download is going at only 2kb/s. >.>

Great, it works. It also fixes some of the black textures I was getting on other various programs too.
