hello
i'm on debian wine 1.3.37
and i try to use iriverplus4 for an iriver U100

i'm french and my english is not very good sorry.

Wine does not support USB devices yet.

wine will support the usb in the futur?
the U1OO is impossible to use out of the box.
it's slow like a snail.
but all inside is linux......
i need to change the firmware with wine...
i don't have windows.

Eventually, probably, but not in the near future.
i need to change the firmware with wine...
That would be risky even if USB support were in place; you could end up bricking the device if Wine failed at the wrong moment.

is there a way that iriverplus4 to be right with wine?
i have put directx9, winetricks...(manythings)
all i have find in posts..
but no more....

No, you can't make Wine support USB without modifying Wine source code.
