Maktabah Syamilah on wine

Hi, I'm one of ubuntu indonesian muslim users. The truth is; all of kind software piracy is forbidden in our religion, some people who care this rule get an OS migration. But there are a problem, the best Islamic software "Maktabah Syamilah" doesn't run perfectly, take a look at the screenshots!

This is maktabah syamilah on windows:

And this is on wine (after ubuntu system languange change to arabic):

please help, if we did it, more and more muslim peoples will be going to open source.

What version of Wine, and what graphics card and driver?

Wine 1.2.2 and no grapich card, just intel HD.

That version of Wine is old and you should upgrade, but the Intel graphics are the bigger problem. From the screenshots I'd say you're not using the latest Intel driver. You need to upgrade to the 2.16.0 driver, as that fixed the bug that causes the heavy black lines around the GUI elements.

thanks, but no change. I've upgraded my wine and my intel graphics driver is the newest one. Maybe the problem on wine arabic language. please help..

Don't care about the black screen, it's just a background image.

Please open a bug report in bugzilla. From what I see you might need several reports (one per problem). Like missing fonts is one issues. Anything related to incorrect RTL, another issue.

Hello. Where can I download the software? I do not speak Arabic but I
can help triage RTL issues (I speak Hebrew, but I can read Arabic even
though I do not understand what I am reading).

Dotan, I'm sory for this long delay reply. maktabah shamela is a 15 GB software, so I don't think you'll download it, but you can try this software:
