UpToDate Portable

Post by andreea_s »

I have Wine 1.3.10 and I am using Meego 1.2.
I cannot open UpToDate.exe. I execute the program, but it doesn't open.
It's working fine on windows xp.
I also have java installed in linux. It's a prerequisite (as far as I know) for UpToDate.
Can anybody help me with it?
The Portable consists of an .exe and a .dat.
Thanks in advance!

Andreea.

I guess you need to install java for windows inside wine because it
won't use the linux installation.

Unfortunately nothing happens :(. I tried to run it in the terminal to see if it tells me what's wrong, but without any hope.
I wonder if there is anybody who uses UpToDate Portable in linux... all I've read about was on normal application (with installation).

If you are talking about the clinical application, there is an
applications database web page for it:

http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... n&iId=9260

It is rated Gold/Silver/Garbage depending on the version you are running.

If that's the app the OP is talking about, the vendor does NOT list any "portable" version on its website. Pirated software is not supported here.
