It would be a good idea to specify exactly what you need instructions for.

Wine is an API/ABI reimplementation, enabling Unix-like systems to run Windows binaries and programs to be ported. What exactly are you trying to do/run with Wine? State the program name, version, etc. What OS and Wine version are you running? State the OS distro, version, bitness, Wine version, etc.

You need to do a little legwork and narrow down the scope of what you're trying to accomplish to something realistic. Reading the FAQ is a good start, and picking a program known to work with Wine and running with it on your own is a good next step.

The AppDB has information and ratings for a lot of Windows apps:

Nobody's going to give you a step-by-step video guide for anything, particularly since this thread is so open-ended.

Pick one game, run it from a terminal, and post whatever messages appear. If the output is long, use pastebin and post a link here.

Which is why I provided a link to instructions for running from a terminal. I suggest you read them.
also i can't find mygames on my hardrive ive searched everywhere.
The default wineprefix is ~/.wine. It's a hidden directory in your home directory; set your file manager to show hidden files and you will see it.

It's been a while since I used Ubuntu, but when you have the window open
that shows your folders and files look across the top of the window for
"view". In the list that opens when you click on "view" look for "hidden
files" and check that. Then you should be able to see some folders that
have a . in front of their name. Look for the folder ".wine" and in that
"drive_c" and in that "program files".

If you want to buy a third party app, that's your choice. They are not supported here.

You still need to run the app from a terminal and post the output.

The FAQ entry I linked to above has examples. Read them.
