DirectX Error CitiesXL 2011

CitiesXL has installed but when I open the file from the Programs list, it tries to open but then I get a DirectX Error:No Video Mode Supported By The Game Can Be Found. Can anyone help me?

Enable virtual desktop via winecfg and set resolution required by game.
