Dear Friends,
I am using wine version 1.1.37 in fedora 10. I have been using ms office
2007. Suddenly word behaves in a strange way that when i open word, the
system hangs. I would like to re-install the ms office application. So i
would like to know,
How to un-install the existing version and install the ms office once again
?.
Thanks in advance,
Bala

Wine 1.1.37 is not supported and you should consider not only upgrading Wine but Fedora as well.Bala subramanian wrote:Dear Friends,

Procedure to de-install any software under that version of Wine is to delete the entire Wine User directory structure, normally stored in a hidden directory under the User's Home directory, .wine.
I need more information before proceeding: Is Word 2007 the ONLY application installed in Wine?
Thank you.

Yes Word 2007 is the only application i am using with wine.
It is installed in the following directory wine/drive_c/Program\
Files/MicrosofOffice
So i should remove the MicrosoftOffice directory under Program_file and
re-install it right ?
Thanks,
Bala

No. You need to delete the entire wineprefix.Bala subramanian wrote:
