.NET 1.1 SP1

Has anyone had any luck installing .NET 1.1 SP1 from

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... layLang=en

I'm trying to install it with wine 1.0-rc3 on Ubuntu 8.04 having
installed .NET 1.1 with winetricks and I get, ultimately, a 'Fatal
Execution Engine Error'. If anyone wants the full console output (all
167 lines of it) that's no problem - or should I just go right ahead and
report this as a bug?

I haven't tried yet.

I'm interested in why you need it, though. What app are you trying to run, and how do you know it needs .net 1.1 sp1?

I'm trying to install the add-on packs for Campaign Cartographer
(www.profantasy.com) - City Designer and Dungeon Designer - and I know I
need it because the installation programs say so
