Hi,

I read 25 entries on Bugzilla but I did not understand anything about what will I do.

Can I try Wine 1.0-rc1?

Nope. We're still looking for a fix. Maybe soon.

June 11, 2008: Wine 1.0 Status

Friends, vintners, penguins, lend me your ears:

We come not to praise Windows, but to celebrate our increasing independence from it.

The final release candidate for Wine 1.0 will appear this Friday, and barring catastrophe, Wine 1.0 itself will be released a few days later.

To those of you whose favorite bug was not fixed, we offer our apologies; time was limited.

We expect to do a 1.0.1 release at some point (1-2 months?) with a few important and conservative bugfixes.
