Ableton Live 9 (64bit) - MP3 Codec

Post by acid »

Hello to all,
i have running Ableton Live 9 (64bit) in Playonlinux with Wine on my Ubuntu System (64bit).
The Program is running fine, but i cant drag and drop MP3 Files into the Program.
I read that in the 32bit Version Quicktime72 have to be installed, but it didnt work in my 64bit Version.
Winetricks has not so much 64bit support.
Did someone know a trick how i can get it running?
Can i install special Codecs to the Wine Folder C ?

Would be nice if someone knows ho to configure it....

Nice day to all members :)

POL is not supported here; this forum is for plain Wine.

The K-Lite Codec pack can be installed in plain Wine. Whether it will work with Ableton, I don't know.

The article you linked to says Ableton requires Quicktime. Since you need 64 bit, you will have to try installing it yourself.
