Getting SoundSlides to work?

Nope, i just ran om a new ~/.wine

This is what i have in /opt/wine/share/wine/fonts (i installed in /opt, you probably have tghis in /usr/local/wine/share/wine/fonts

That's what I have from git, which doesn't work for me either, so it's not a case of something being patched in the last few days.

Yes; it makes no difference. There has to be something that Kinare's system and mine have in common that is different on qwertymn's.

Also, about a year ago a guy from the Ubuntu forums said he could see SoundSlides just fine. I asked what version of Linux he runs and also if he compiled Wine himself, and here's what he said:

I always use the latest Ubuntu Studio release, and the latest Wine from the wine-repo. (theres a guide here : http://www.winehq.org/site/download-deb).

I can't remember what wine-version I was using at the time, but I've had several problems with pulse and wine in Hardy, so I'm actually considering going back to the previous release (Gutsy).

I'm now using Wine 1.1.2 and the problem persists. Just wondering if anyone else wanted to give this a shot or suggest something for me to try. I'm open to almost anything. Thanks.
