Bluestacks Installation Hanging on Wine 1.6.1

Hey all, thank you for reading.

I have been trying to install Bluestacks on Ubuntu 12.04 using Wine 1.6.1, but inevitably what happens it that the installation process "hangs" or gets suspended @ about 95%. Sometimes it just stays there indefinitely; other times I get an error message about a "fatal error" involving rundll32.exe.

Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed and get around this problem?
