Docear4Word reference manager add-on not working.

Post by Athanasius »

Hi. I've installed MS Office 2007 (up to SP3) using a 32 bit wineprefix without trouble (riched20 as native). I then installed Docear4Word, Docear's add-on for MS Word, under the same wineprefix. According to its installer dialogue, it installs successfully, but when I then run MS Word it doesn't show in the reference ribbon tab where it is supposed to. Any hints :?: It would be really great to have it working since it saves a lot of time when citing dozens of references.
Thanks for this great project! :D

Wine 1.6.2 (no winetricks); SolydX (debian based) Linux.

Try upgrading Wine to the latest development release, and if the problem persists, file a bug.

I have the same problem.

I just tried installing docear4word with the freshly released wine 1.7.39. I tried installing this plugin for both Word 2010 and Word 2007, and in both cases, it does not work.
