Wine Mac No Directories to save too

I just freshly installed Wine so I'm little stumped on what the problem is.
I load my Windows program and go to the save here page and all the places i could normally save at are greyed out. when i do wine cfg it says failed to connect to the blah blah blah drives. How do i set it up to recognize a C: path. or just somewhere to save. i read around a lot and it says there supposed to be user/.wine folder, isn't where its supposed to be or maybe I'm supposed to create it?
