Game has some strange characters

I ought myself game called Escapists, I wanted to give it a shot, since I saw a nice gameplay of a nice Let's Player. After I started the .EXE without any additions (like PlayOnLinux or others), this opened up: http://oi59.tinypic.com/33acp3q.jpg

I tried it by entering, clicking and doing things. Game doesn't lag at all, so it can't be performance issue. But the text, on these three buttons should be in English. What I also noticed that if you go into Settings (which I think was button on the left), there was a button called "Back". So, it's not entirely "weirdish".

Whose fault is it? Did I do something? Or Wine didn't understand it correctly? Or the application doesn't provide current information?

And how do I fix it?

Try winetricks corefonts.

Didn't work. Also, as I type my name into profile, the "A" and "N" are not themselves but "|", this applies to every character. Every character is replaced by different strange characters. So if I type "dance" for example, it will say "%(!!@" or something like this (you've seen the screenshot, you know what I mean).

Another thing yet, I went into game, and some text is in regular English and other is still in weirdish... o_O. It did recognize "dance". Because I got sentence "Pace it up dance!". So, I think, I might just be able to play, but still. There's some vital text still in weirdish, like jobs, what is someone selling, what are their names
