Running POP two thrones on wine, graphical glitch

Post by rastatoby »

Hey all
First time poster here, and not a native english speaker, so pardon me any grammatical mistakes.
As i'm not sure if this is a problem with drivers, or with wine itself, i thought i'd first post here and ask for further directions.
I've ran into a problem using wine 1.6.2 and trying to run Prince of Persia The Two Thrones. I've ran into a really weird graphical glitch,
and i can't seem to solve it in any way, pictures in the link below:

I could not find any information on this, as i don't even know how to describe the problem correctly.
I am running debian testing x64, on a thinkpad s430, with optimus graphics (intel 4000 and nvidia 620m, proprietary drivers).
This is the second time i ran into this glitch, the same glitch used to happen on the prequel, Prince of persia warrior within, but only on intel graphics. When the game was started with optirun, it ran perfectly.
Now with The Two thrones, the glitch happens when running both on intel graphics, or on discrete nvidia card. One thing to note is that when running the louncher, even with optirun, the game louncher still detects intel integrated graphics (shown in the picture 3).
I would be grateful if i could get some help, cant seem to solve this no matter what :D

The corruption looks like a known bug in Mesa that has already been fixed upstream. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37347
