K-Lite Codec Pack

Post by DeadMustDie »

Trying to put the K-Lite Codec Pack Mega 10.9.0 and get an error about missing d3d8thk.dll file in the folder C: / Windows / syswow64. If I copy this I've found there downloaded from internet, I get the error "The file" C: /Windows/system32/regsvr32.exe "has an incorrect version (5.0.1586.1). Please replace the file with a genuine copy. Setup will now abort ". One can still install Codec Pack?
I installed Linux Mint 17.1 Cinnamon 64-bit with Wine 1.7.32 and Winetricks 20140302

Upgrade Wine, and keep the Windows version set to XP. The regsvr32 bug was fixed in 1.7.33. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37704.
