CaseWare accounting software on Wine

Hi all,

I'm hoping this is the correct place to post this. Basically the short story is I'm trying to get CaseWare software working using Wine. CaseWare is a type of accounting program that accounting firms tend to use as a production line software. I've managed to convert my entire business over to Linux, save for CaseWare, and unfortunately it is a huuuuuge inconvenience.

Currently CaseWare will start up and semi-function, but when you try to access saved client files, or create new client files, a Windows error is generated and then everything comes to a stop. So at current it would seem that it's just a few minor issues that need ironed out in order to make this work. If Wine could get CaseWare software to run smoothly, suddenly a very powerful accounting program would be available for native Linux OS, without the need to run a virtual box on the side.

So with that in mind, is there anyone on the Wine team that I can work with/sponsor to try and get this project working? It's certainly of huge value to me to have this work, but because it is a specialized piece of niche software I don't believe it can garner the community support required to make it work without a financial incentive. Itoo have tested CaseWare periodically under wine without success.
I woud like to know how far you get, with codeweavers.
