[STEAMGAME] Dungeon of the endless, "Public" folder modified

Hello,
this is my first post and I am very happy to join this wonderful community. Also i need to apologise for the ircorrect language, but english is not my first.

I am running PlayOnLinux on Ubuntu 14.10 with PlayOnLinux and I have a problem occurring when i try to run one of the Steam games. I add screenshot to make you sure that I do own the game and not trying to make you help me pirate the game.

The game runs pretty much smoothly, with the exception of SAVING PROGRESS feature o.O. I cant actually unlock new heroes nor can i get the achievements, all due to game client interpreting my game files as modified.

My friend using the same PlayOnLinux application installs everything as default on his Debian distro and he gets no problem at all with it whatsoever.

I can join multiplayer game with no problem, but the lobbies are listed as using different checksum (that's why they are marked YELLOW)

I have checked and every lobby has the same checksum, i am the different client for sure. I dont know what more info i can provide you, if you have any ideas what can i do to repair or at least diagnose this problem, please feel free to ask.

PlayOnLinux is not supported here; this forum is for plain Wine only.

Reinstall to a clean wineprefix using the latest development release of plain Wine. If the problem persists, post terminal output.

Your terminal output seems to be truncated, please read FAQ how to get terminal output correctly: http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#head-525985f ... e1ee7bafd3

Also, you did not said if you have reinstalled in clean Wine prefix. Did you removed or renamed ~/.wine folder before trying to reinstall? And to confirm that you have installed latest development release of Wine please post output from this command:

Thank you for replying! Yes, I did follow your instructions. I have edited previous post in order to give you proper output of terminal.
I am running steam through wine, and then i open the game in steam, steam installs vcredist, and directx i guess, then wine shows crash reports both times, game starts andI quit it as soon as i get the error and exit steam.

sorry, i already see that you meant development version. I deleted .wine then installed latest wine, then disabled -dwrite, installed steam and dungeon of endless (no errors during installation of vcredist etc this time), but when i start the game the problem is the same.

err:winediag:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated. Make sure that ntlm_auth >= 3.0.25 is in your path. Usually, you can find it in the winbind package of your distribution.
I don't know if that's the cause of your problem, but it's one thing you do need to fix.

ok i seem to have fixed ntlm_auth problem by installing the package that was recommended after typing ntlm_auth in console, i dont have ntlm_auth error no more, but the achievements problem continues...

The game is installed in a 64 bit wineprefix. Try installing to a clean 32 bit one. http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#32_bit_wineprefix
