Keyboard error for GW2

I get a terminal full of this one and then it crashes. I researched the "0409" value and it's for an english(us) keyboard. I'm using a french canadian keyboard and i set it to us eng for default, allowed window specific languages, rebooted... No candy.

I couldn't find anything about wine "key map parameters" or anything loosely related to this error. I do get a site with a huge wall of text which asks me to login for looking at the replies but it's not useful.

Anyway, i'm looking for a way to force an eng(us) keyboard in wine, any thought? Maybe it won't load because a windows specific keyboard isn't avaliable? Some winetrick magic or a nice wine parameter syntax would be appreciated.

I'm still looking into this. Found all sorts of ways to configure or override keyboard configurations. It did not help.

At this point i think windows takes a "MapVirtualKeyEx" procedure call without parameters and the same thing under wine is rejected.

I can't fix wine, i don't know how. I would appreciate people knowledgeble in this to help, even if you don't want to do it yourself, just point me in the right direction or something.
