Use Windows Installation, to install on Ubuntu

Hi,

My disk with all my software is currently unavailable to me. However my important software Is installed on my XP machine, that I am seeking to install Ubuntu on. Is there a way I can browse to certain files within the installed software, in order to install it in Ubuntu? Or do I need the original software, in order to use Vine to install on Ubuntu?
