[Wine 1.7]-Windows Steam Version NOT Working Properly?
Hi,
I just installed a fully up to date Kubuntu 14.04 L.T.S. 64Bit Linux to my desktop.
I then installed the Windows version of Valve's Steam game client.
I then added "-no-dwrite" to the icon's launch command to get text.
My problem now is after I log into Steam the "Store" shows empty?
I can still access my games, but I wish to look at the "Store".
How can I fix this problem, thanks!
I have an AMD CPU and an AMD GPU with AMD proprietary display driver installed...

You could have found that out yourself just by checking the bug links in the AppDB entry for Steam.

I already have Microsoft core TTF fonts installed through Muon Package Manager,
but it does not fix no text issue on my Windows Steam game client?
Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Having msttcorefonts installed systemwide works for me on openSUSE, but maybe Kubuntu handles fonts differently. Try winetricks corefonts.

Yes, that worked, thank you!
