Hi, recently I have installed winde-development on my debian testing, but I have an issue that I don't have on Wine stable.
the Apps can't be started by double click, and Libraries fail download when Wine launches the first time
Wine-development on debian
Re: Wine-development on debian
What are the exact Wine versions--development and stable?
Did you reinstall your apps to a clean wineprefix after upgrading? If not, try that. Wineprefixes usually survive upgrades, but problems are more likely when making a big jump in versions.

Re: Wine-development on debian
I did a clean install of debian with wine-development 1.7.26-2. and I had those problems. indeed if I install wine stable 1.6.2-8 then everything works like a charm.
my issue is I can't launch Apps by double click

Re: Wine-development on debian
Sounds like a filetype association problem rather than a Wine issue. Exactly what happens when you double-click? Any popup error messages? Have you tried right-clicking and selecting "Open with..." and specifying Wine?
You also never answered my question as to whether you reinstalled your apps after upgrading.

i have the right file type association, i don't see any pop-up
Re: Wine-development on debian
If the apps run fine from the terminal, it's not a Wine issue. Ask for help on the Debian forum with setting up your system to use Wine to run exe files when you double click them.
