Hi everybody,
I used to work with the free software PQR-EPPO in Ubuntu 12.04 - wine 1.4 for research without problems. However, since the last update to Ubuntu 14.04 - wine 1.7, the software is not working anymore.
I did a lot of research and tried a lot of solutions for similar problems that I found in this forum and the web, unfortunately none works. Also I bought crossover and I post a similar question in the customer support, but I had no advice.
Any advice will be appreciated. This problem has stopped all my work.
This is the link to the software:
https://www.eppo.int/DATABASES/pqr/pqr.htm
and this is the output after running the program in the terminal:
~$ wine pqr

Error at running PQR-EPPO governmental software
Re: Error at running PQR-EPPO governmental software
I downloaded the app and it also crashed for me in 1.7.26; however, when I tested it in 1.4, it crashed the same way. According to the downloads page, the current version of PQR-EPPO was released 2014-03-06. Was that the version you had working in 1.4?

yes, It was the same. I update my ubuntu recently. In fact I update PQR several times with wine 1.4.
I also tried to go back to wine 1.4, but due to dependencies I can't do it.

File a bug. If you can, run a regression test. http://wiki.winehq.org/RegressionTesting
